Thymus serpyllum 'Elfin'
Elfin Thyme
Elfin Thyme is an evergreen herb. Tiny, grey-green leaves. Tolerates dry conditions once established. Best with average water and well drained soil - even rocky, sandy, poor soil. Will cascade over walls and grows well between stones. Elfin Thyme blooms lavender, early Summer. Will tolerate light foot traffic making it a good choice between stepping stones. Cut back first of Spring and trim lightly after blooming to keep it neat and to remove woody stems. Mature height 1"-2", spreads 12"-18"
